Self Awareness & Personal Development

Energy Management: Leading Self

Mastering energy for self-development and performance. Because people can really lead others only when they can lead themselves.

The business challenge

Why organizations ask for this.

Time management fails because the constraint is rarely hours. It is depleted physical, emotional, mental and spiritual energy, arriving as irritability, avoidance, poor decisions late in the day, and eventually burnout. The signals are visible long before the absence is.

Approach & methodology

How the programme actually runs.

1.5 days or 3 × 3–4 h sessions + 21-day digital programme · Face-to-face or online · digital follow-up

  1. Preparation

Pre-read, short videos and reflection tasks; two to three individual conversations with selected participants.

  2. Awareness

The need for a holistic approach to life, personal and professional. Becoming aware of your own stress signals and stress patterns.

  3. The four dimensions

The Energy Management model: the four dimensions that significantly influence our capacity to lead, observed and acted on continuously.

  4. The drains

Self-organization, time and task management, proficiency gaps, conflicting priorities, micromanagement and top-down workload planning, named for what they are.

  5. Personal plan

Choosing the actions and ideas to implement, in a self-designed plan, with a like-minded group that continues long after the workshop.

  6. Digital reinforcement

A 21-day digital follow-up programme with buddy work and self-chosen assignments.
