1. Website owner and scope
This website is owned and operated by MARCO POLO C.E.E. S.R.L., a company registered in Romania under Trade Register number J2014011447402, unique registration code (CUI) 33651480, with its registered office at Strada Piața Amzei nr. 5, et. 1, ap. 14, Sector 1, București, Romania (referred to below as “Marco Polo CEE”, “we”, “us”).
These terms and conditions govern your access to and use of this website and of any information, materials and forms made available through it. By accessing the website you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Purpose of the website
This is a corporate website, published to inform clients and prospective clients. Its pages provide general information about the capability-building solutions, programmes and services offered by Marco Polo CEE.
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer, professional advice, or a commitment to deliver a specific service on specific terms. Programme content, duration, format and pricing are agreed individually, in a written contract, for each engagement.
3. Intellectual property
The content and design of this website — including photographs, drawings, texts, slogans, images, page structure and any databases accessible through it — are the property of MARCO POLO C.E.E. S.R.L. and are protected under Romanian legislation on copyright and related rights, as well as under applicable European Union law.
Where content has been posted by third parties or partners, copyright and responsibility for that content remain entirely with the party who published it. Content taken from partners under agreement is identified by naming the partner alongside the text or image concerned.
Programme methodologies, curricula, exercises, assessment instruments and materials developed by Marco Polo CEE remain our intellectual property, including after an engagement ends, unless a written agreement provides otherwise. Certified third-party methodologies used in our programmes — including the Process Communication Model, TTI Success Insights (DISC), the Kirkpatrick evaluation model and the coaching frameworks of Performance Consultants International — remain the property of their respective owners and are used under licence.
4. Permitted use
You may view, download and print pages of this website for your own internal, non-commercial information purposes, provided you do not remove any copyright or other proprietary notice.
Any other use of the content — in particular reproduction, distribution, public communication, adaptation or making available to the public, in whole or in part, for commercial purposes — is prohibited without our prior written consent. Requests may be sent to office@marcopolocee.com.
Press releases and public announcements are an exception: representatives of the media may reproduce them in whole or in part, provided the source is stated.
You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful, that could damage or impair it, or that could interfere with anyone else’s use of it — including attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or extracting data by automated means without our consent.
5. Third-party content and links
Certain sections of this website may contain content provided by third parties, or links to websites operated by third parties. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those websites, we do not endorse their content, and we accept no responsibility for them. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.
6. Forms, newsletter and communications
Where the website offers a contact form or a newsletter subscription, you are responsible for providing accurate information and for having the right to provide any details you submit about another person.
Newsletter subscription operates on a double opt-in basis: after entering your email address you must confirm it by clicking a link sent to that address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every message, or by writing to office@marcopolocee.com.
We do not send unsolicited commercial messages. Where access to a service requires registration with a username and password, you are responsible for keeping those credentials confidential. We will never ask you for your password by email, SMS or telephone.
7. Changes to the website and to these terms
We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend or withdraw the website or any part of its content at any time and without prior notice. We also reserve the right to amend these terms. The version published on this page at the moment you access the website is the version that applies. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
8. Availability and limitation of liability
We take reasonable care to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free or continuously available.
To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website, or from reliance on information published on it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law.
9. Privacy and personal data
We respect your privacy and the personal data you share with us when you use this website. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and with Romanian Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector.
